About Us

Meet the founders

Dr Isaac and Dr (Mrs) Ethel Abe

Welcome to Noah’s Ark Family Web (NAFW)

We pray that the Lord restores the days that the enemy has stolen from your marriage and family life. May His grace strengthen and empower you to recover and nurture your priceless relationship. May you build sustainable relationships at home, work and in the larger society.  Above all, we pray that your marriage models that of Christ and His Church to your world. May you experience Heaven on earth in your marriage and may your children be taught of the Lord. Indeed, may you and yours be blessed, strengthened and kept by the hands of the Almighty God. Be fruitful in all your endeavours powered by the love of God. Amen

We pray for you in these dimensions because the concept of marriage and family life is under attack and constant, unrelenting pressure. Standards have fallen to despicable levels and society is lapsing into apostasy. Divorce, alternative lifestyle, single parenthood, co-habitation, infantile pregnancies, domestic violence, street children, alcohol and substance abuse, rebellion among youth, rape … (the list is endless) is on the increase.

However, we believe that the family should take a prominent position in nurturing human beings and rectifying the flaws in the ailing world around us. Unfortunately, most people today cannot boast of that familial experience that shapes behaviours positively and equips the individual to overcome the challenges of adult and married life. Because what they have as families were either dysfunctional or ‘non-existent’, they too are flowing downstream by the same tide that carried their progenitors. Today, most people in marital relationships are regretting and those that are single wish to either remain single, cohabit or become single parents. While some others wittingly or unwittingly, are exploring the alternative lifestyle promoted by some countries around the world. The situation surrounding marriage and family life is reaching crisis levels!

It is comforting and reassuring to know that God is not silent about the entire goings on in marriage and family life. In His usual Biblical manner, the Lord has raised proven prophetic voices to declare His stand and counsel on marriage and family life today. All over the Bible, God is seen responding to the problems of humanity by sending prophets The prophetic arises out of a crisis; it is God’s remedy to decay, decline, and degradation.. The Lord clearly spoke to us in 2005 that “marriages are under pressure” and in February 2007, He instructed us to ‘build me an Ark for the preservation of generations”. NAFW is the response to that prophetic instruction to arrest decay of marriage and family life, remove pressure from people in marital and familial relationships with the hope of preserving generations.

NAFW is community-based organisation, registered as an NPO in South Africa. The organisation has been working with God and the Church since 2007 to restore, build, foster and maintain lasting relationships globally with the aim of reducing and possibly obliterating domestic violence and reducing divorce and single parenthood levels. At NAFW, we believe that God is on our side and His purpose for instituting marriage and family life will be achieved by those who seek His face and hearken to His counsel.
